What started as me bookmarking websites and searching for recommendations for parks, cafés, splash pads and rainy day activities has finally turned into Little Adventures Wales – a place to share all of our favourite finds in one place.
From woodland walks and sculpture trails to soft play centres and sunflower fields, my goal is simple:
To help families make memories together without needing expensive holidays or perfectly curated lives.
As parents, weekends and school holidays can feel expensive and overwhelming – especially when you’re trying to entertain children without spending a fortune.
I wanted to create a website that made it easier for local families to discover:
Everything shared on Little Adventures Wales is designed to help make family life a little easier – and a lot more fun.
Waterfalls, beaches, walks, parks and nature trails.
Soft play, museums, cafés and indoor activities.
Affordable family fun across South Wales.
Sports clubs, activities and family resources.
Many of the places featured on Little Adventures Wales are places we’ve personally visited as a family.
I aim to keep information as accurate and up to date as possible, but opening times, prices and facilities can change – so I always recommend checking directly with the venue before travelling.
Find a local kids club – from sports and the arts, to youth clubs and playschemes
